Mission
Celebrate the Fête de la Musique by organising the first festival of 2021 and the first festival ever held at the Élysée Palace.
Strategy
The Fête de la Musique has become an unmissable event between the French and their artists, it has become an event of national culture and of France’s international influence. This 21 June 2021 was special. It marked the 40th edition of this event, but not only that: it was the symbol of the return of happy days.
Under the artistic direction of Jean-Michel Jarre, several talented artists from the young electro generation such as NSDOS, Irène Dresel or ڭليثر Glitter٥٥ were invited on stage. For one day, the Élysée Palace hosted the first festival of 2021. And for the first time an electro festival took place in the Élysée courtyard during a Fête de la Musique broadcast simultaneously on Culturebox, the cultural channel of the France Télévisions group. “It’s great to launch the festival season, and the return of festivals to the courtyard of the Élysée is quite symbolic,” rejoiced Jean-Michel Jarre.
